for the past 3 years, my college girlfriends and I have been unable to celebrate cinco de mayo because of finals. oh, responsibility. to make up for the tragic loss of this holiday, we invented our own - diesiseis de mayo (may 16). this year we are no longer undergrads, so it's kind of pathetic, but tradition is tradition. and we're celebrating on the 15th. whatever.
just LOOK at this pinata selection. this was taken at 9:50 this morning, when I was really pushing the envelope in terms of being on time for work. I settled, finally, on this glorious little ladybug.
that little love bug is full of candy and tequila nips. fake holiday or not, we are having fun :)
