today is my mom's birthday, and my sister and I are determined to give her as stress-free a day as possible. we made her breakfast, we bought her flowers, and later tonight we're heading south to have a clamcake and chowder picnic on the beach. life is good.

my contribution is tackling the laundry room.

one load done, two in, four to go.

does wash-dry-folding seven loads of laundry count as a birthday present? I hope so. I hope saving the family home from the imminent dryer fire is also a pretty sweet gift.

nearly an inch thick slab of dryer lint. gross.
